Looking for a more in-depth experience? Bring a Teaching Artist to your classroom for a LIVE Virtual Residency for an additional $100 per classroom.
RESIDENCY: Folktales, Fables & Myths with Stone Soup
$250 per classroom – $150 per additional classroom in the same school & same grade
Maximize your Virtual Field Trip, by adding on a personalized theatre residency exploring, comparing, and contrasting folktales and fables. Guided by a STC Teaching Artist, students will participate in FOUR 30-minute live virtual theatre classes on Google Meet or Zoom. Students will utilize their “Actor Toolbox” (body, voice, imagination) to identify & perform stories (fables, folktales, and myths), describing and playing characters with varying points of view, motivations, and feelings.
This curriculum was developed to support Common Core ELA Standards for Grades 2 & 3 in partnership with Stages Theatre Company’s production of Stone Soup.Learn More
