Want a more in-depth experience? Pair your Virtual Field Trip with a Page To Stage Adaptation Residency and allow your students a chance to jump into the roles of Playwright & Actor, as they write and perform original scenes inspired by The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.

RESIDENCY: PAGE TO STAGE ADAPTATION – AN AUTHOR’S JOURNEY
($250 per classroom, $150 per additional classroom in same school and same grade)
Expand your Virtual Field Trip experience with a Page to Stage Residency, led by Teaching Artist and Director of New Play Development, Jeannine Coulombe. Personalized for your classroom, students will participate in four live virtual lessons to learn about adapting narrative writing into dramatic writing. After reading the novel, students will analyze a short passage from the book and adapt it into a dramatic scene, and perform it for their classmates.
Includes all components of the READ AND WATCH experience, including a viewing of the Stages Theatre Company’s production of The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, Interactive Learning Modules, Virtual Study Guide, & Pre-Recorded Video Discussions with Director, Jeannine Coulombe.
