$575 a week. Overtime eligible.

Creede Repertory Theatre Young Audience Outreach Tour Performer

In reference to the character descriptions below: most characters we currently encounter are on the binary and are written with he/him or she/hers pronouns. However limiting the descriptions are, our casting seeks to be as inclusive as possible and we invite gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender, and non-binary actors to submit for the roles they most identify with. We also list race/ethnicity when specific to the character but are otherwise seeking actors of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Actor 2 (Latinx, Male-identifying, Bilingual in Spanish/English) plays:
Beto – Gaby’s older brother, a college student
Dad – Gaby’s dad
Coyote – a trickster, a god, a drummer, a dancer

COMPENSATION

Non-AEA:
$575/wk
Housing Provided
$250 travel stipend

HOW TO AUDITION

For  video submissions, please include 2 contrasting monologues and 16 bars of a song.

To submit a video audition, please fill out the Audition Submission Form, upload a headshot and resume (PDF format), and provide a link to your audition video.

Auditions will be reviewed as they are received. We will contact you if we’d like to see a callback.

HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION

All artists who perform in-person work for CRT’s 2024 Season are required to provide proof of full vaccination against Covid-19, according to current CDC guidelines, prior to their start date. Artists will receive a copy of CRT’s most up-to-date Heath & Safety policy at the time of contract.
