We are looking for play submissions for our 2025-26 season.

CLIMB Theatre is a touring educational theatre that produces 40-minute plays that tours primarily the Upper Midwest. Our programming teaches youth social emotional skills that EMPOWER (Empathy, Manners, Perseverance, Ownership, Well-Being, Equity, & Regulation) them to be better people in their communities.

We are looking for submissions for plays for K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and MS/HS. Please provide a summary of your play idea/s following the themes for the grade levels: K-2 Manners and Regulation, 3-6 Ownership and Regulation, & MS/HS Equity and Regulation. Below is how CLIMB defines each of these skills.

Manners is the ability to show kindness and respect in any situation.
Ownership is the ability to accept responsibility for one’s actions no matter the outcome.
Equity is the ability to speak up for yourself and others, to make sure that everyone is treated with fairness and given the opportunity to succeed.
Regulation is the ability to manage one’s actions, body, and emotions.

Submissions are Due October 25th, 2024
Offers will be made November 4th, 2024
Draft 1 due December 13th, 2024
Draft 2 due January 17th, 2025
Final Draft due February 14th, 2025
