Marketing & Public Relations Director

The Rose Theater seeks a strategic thinker, leader and marketer to serve as Marketing & PR Director. The position leads marketing and PR of The Rose using traditional, digital and social media to inspire and engage key target audiences.
The position creates, develops and executes daily and long-term strategic marketing plans. Develops and manages annual marketing budget. Directly responsible for marketing, branding and public relations for main stage productions, First Stage series, new Studios for Youth Artists; a shared resource for two education programs, Teens N’ Theater and Community Voices Outreach program. Serves as the webmaster. Supports fund development, event planning, advertising, signage, social media and other theater activities. Supervises Asst. Marketing Director, Member and Audience Services positions and Social Media Specialists. Collaborates with all theater departments including production, education and finance.
Preferred candidate has a demonstrated management and leadership skills, demonstrated strategic thinking in deadline-driven multi-task, highly detailed environment, superlative communication skills, strong analytical abilities and intellectual curiosity, evidence of maturity, drive and enthusiasm, proficiency in digital media best practices and experience with Adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Word and Excel, and photography and videography. Love of theater a must.
