Victoria Theatre Association is excited to announce that we are actively recruiting a dynamic Education & Engagement Coordinator. The Education & Engagement Coordinator will serve as the overall administrative support of the department.

FLSA Status:              Exempt

Shift:                          1st, evenings and weekends as required by special events

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as chief administrator for Discovery Series season
  • Operate as the Education & Engagement Department administrative lead
  • Maintain E&E calendar and communicate E & E needs to all departments as applicable, i.e. Marketing, Graphics, Event Services, and Ticketing
  • Create and submit Event Sheets for all E & E events
  • Build relationships with teachers/administrators to promote sales for Discovery
  • Receive scholarship requests and track budget, communicate with patrons
  • Serve as E & E’s Ticket Center Stage (TCS) representative selling Discovery tickets, camp spots, and other E & E events which have a ticketing component when appropriate
  • Check for special needs for patrons, and communicate with Audience Services
  • Seating charts for all performances; track and collect unpaid invoices
  • Create and distribute Teacher Packets at performances
  • Help create resource guides for Discovery Series
  • Provide all descriptions and logistics to TCS
  • Day-of set-up/logistics for E & E programming including Broadway activities, Family activities, community workshops, and other events
  • Serve as a teaching artist for the E & E department when appropriate
  • Help plan and coordinate Family Series workshops
  • Serve as administrative and logistical coordinator of after-school intensives and summer camps
  • Mail contracts/maintain communication with arts groups when appropriate
  • Submit and track check requests for various programs
  • Track sales for E & E programming; track attendance for all E & E activities
  • Other duties as assigned



  • A Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Education, Arts Administration, or Theatre
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative work experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
  • Experience with Tessitura Network preferred
  • Must possess the ability to work as a swift change agent, high energy is needed
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends
